Jim Connolly – President
Jim Connolly is the owner of Planet Turf.  He has a degree in Agronomy from Washington State University and continued studies in Environmental Science from the University of Connecticut and graduate classes in Crop Science from Washington State University.  He is a former agronomist for the United States Golf Association Green Section where he made over 600 golf course consulting visits.  He is a Certified Professional Agronomist and has 36 years’ experience in the turf grass management field.

Ted Langevin – Chief Financial Officer                                                                                                                                         Ted received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Management from the University of Maryland at College Park, MD, and his MA in Economics from George Washington University in Washington, DC.  Ted has been a senior management CFO with several companies for the past 25 years.  Most recently, Ted spent 18 years working as the Chief Financial Officer for the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation managing over 520 staff located in 39 states. He was responsible for the financial integrity of the firm and also directed the Information Technology, Human Resources and Government Contracts Departments.

Jared WhitakerVice President of Sales and Technical Support
Jared received his degree in Agronomy, with a major in Turfgrass Science from Washington State University.  He has worked at renowned golf courses throughout the US and gained valuable hands-on experience.  Jared has worked at Riviera Golf Club, Atlantic City Golf Club, Spokane Country Club, Sonoma Golf Club and most recently at Huntsman Springs Golf Club in Driggs, Idaho.

Kelly Bowen – Eastern Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana Representative
Kelly Bowen comes from a golf family, with two brothers members of the PGA and Kelly graduating from Oregon State and working in the Turfgrass industry for over 30 years.  He is the former President of the Inland Empire Golf Course Superintendents Association and has held positions in the landscape, golf,  and horticulture field including horticulturist for ChemLawn Services Corp. in Redmond WA.   “Kelly is a great addition to Planet Turf and brings the kind of enthusiasm and positive outlook that fits our company vision.  His experience and willingness to share and help will be appreciated by our customers.”

Amy Connolly – Vice President, Administration
Amy Connolly cofounded James Connolly Consulting, LTD with her husband Jim Connolly in 1999.  As the business of consulting branched into sales and marketing with Planet Turf she took on the role of Office Administrator and Accounts Manager.  Amy continues to serve as Vice President and Senior Advisor for Planet Turf and James Connolly Consulting.

Riley Connolly – Manager of Operations
Riley Graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Asian Studies. He has been working in the golf industry since he was 15 years old and has experience in golf maintenance, hospitality, caddying, and day-to-day course operations. A short list of some the courses he has worked at includes The Golf Club at Black Rock, Spokane Country Club (now Kalispell CC), and The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course. As operations manager, Riley supports our staff by overseeing inventory, product procurement, shipping and logistics, sales and financial reports, and all other operating functions at Planet Turf. Riley began working at Planet Turf in September of 2016.

Katie Bradley – Accounting
Katie enjoys the attention to detail and organization that are required in her position. She earned her Associate of Arts degree from Spokane Falls Community College, and has worked with various companies since. In addition, Katie has a passion for Irish Dance. She toured professionally for three years with Celtic Fire, and now teaches at the Haran Irish Dance Studio in Spokane. Her hobbies include adventuring in the outdoors with her husband, and spending time with friends and family.

Jack Oselinsky – Warehouse Manager
Jack is responsible for receiving and shipping all products in the most cost-effective and time-sensitive way possible. He is also Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of product and accurate inventory. Jack previously worked as superintendent for 12 years at The Highlands Golf Course, Post Falls, Idaho, and 3 years as assistant superintendent at Bear Creek Country Club, Woodinville, Washington. Jack has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Education, an Associate Degree in Turf Management, and served in the United State Marine Corp from 1966-1972.
